FlexNet Manager Platform / Suite – SKU, PURL & Bundle updates (Release #503)

The SKU, Product Use Rights Libraries (PURL) and Bundles libraries, used by FlexNet Manager Suite, have been updated. For on premise customers the SKU/PURL/Bundles libraries have been published and are now available. 

Customers of FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud will have this update applied by the Recognition Data Import task and be available on Monday, May 30^th 2022 in your time zone. 

What's new in this release?

• 1747 new IBM SKUs have been released covering 208 distinct product families. There were 1295 are licensed SKUs and 1261 have been linked to its relevant PURL templates and 1199 have been linked to its appropriate applications.

• New PURL templates have been created and existing templates have been verified to match 3,964 SKUs. These 3.9K SKUs are from Adobe, IBM, Microsoft and other tier2, tier3 vendors.

• Three new IBM bundles have been published ‘IBM WebSphere Hybrid Edition 5.1’

• Refreshed 38 IBM bundles with respect to its applications and all ignored apps have now been replaced with its correct software titles in the bundle.
  
  
• Refreshed the below listed 24 IBM product families covering 85 different bundles with respect to its SKUs, PURL, and applications. These bundles have been updated according to latest IBM vendor literature or LIDs.

1. Total number of SKUs in the library is 2,163,762 across 1,357 publishers.
2. Total number of PURL templates is 3,907 across 48 publishers.
3. Total number of published Bundles is 4,478 across 21 publishers.

How can I verify that my SKU Library has been updated? 

You can inspect the changed data in the SKU Library with the SKU Library Update Report. The regular schedule for SKU/PURL updates 

We expect the next update to the PURL & SKU Library to be available on Friday, June 24^th 2022.  The libraries are available as soon as published and are updated daily via the Recognition Data Import task, or as otherwise reflected in your local configuration. Customers of FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud will have this update applied by Monday, June 27^th 2022 in your time zone.

Downloading the SKU/PURL Libraries Manually 

The SKU/PURL library updates can be downloaded from the Flexera Product and Licensing Center (PLC 2.0).
