This article provides a code sample for retrieving the ClientID when using the XT .NET SDK in FlexNet Connect.Discussion
The .NET SDK API docs do not mention this, but the IConnect interface does allow the ClientID to be retrieved. The following code blurb gets the ClientID, and writes the output to the console:using (connectClient = ConnectFactory.GetConnect(IdentityClient.IdentityData,null))
{
Console.WriteLine("id = " + connectClient.ClientId);
}
Note that the ClientID is the MAC address for the client machine.
