Flexnet Connect as Optional Feature?
I'm relatively new to Installshield so I may not have all the intricacies of the software down yet.
We've had requests from clients to disable the installation of Flexnet Connect with our software product. I was thinking that I could attach the Macrovision Software Manager merge module to it's own optional feature and allow users to select that during install if they wanted it. I'm assuming it's not as simple as that though. ISCHECKFORPRODUCTUPDATES is set to 1 so I assume there's a configuration that will attempt an update process even if the merge module isn't installed. ISENABLEDWUSFINISHDIALOG is also set to 1 so I imagine there will also be an error there.
Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated.

Hi Scheng,
I guess that means that nobody here has tried what you had described. If you are looking for an answer from the MVSN support folks, you'll want to post your query to: http://support.macrovision.com. They'll be able to give you a much better idea of how to make it work or if it's even possible.
Regards,
Kelly
