Can we use SetUpdateStatus function using InstallShield 10.5 (InstallScript)?
I am trying to use these functions in InstallShield 10.5 (InstallScript Project) to disable any UpdateService checks at the end of the install process.
GetUpdateStatus
SetUpdateStatus
I tried using these functions in InstallScript, but I get a compiler error.
I am assuming that the use of these functions would help me prevent the dialog shown below from appearing. I believe some users are getting this dialog on some O/S's, probably because the Update Service has only the english license and they are installing it on a different language.
Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hi, Vinod,
Have you tried overriding the SdFinishEx function and making it call the SdFinish or SdFinishReboot dialogs instead?
Rob 😄 😄 😉
