Export from ServiceNow - How to Set Filters to Limit number of endpoints

We set-up our ServiceNow Dev environment successfully and need to limit what we run through the Data Platform which I understand happens on the ServiceNow side.  We only want to export Servers and the installed applications on servers from ServiceNow, has anyone performed this and if so can you share how this is accomplished?

I would think that the easiest way would be to change the 'Flexera Computer Export' definition in ServiceNow to add a filter condition on either Class(cicomp_sys_class_name) or on Operating System depending on your infrastructure estate:
