How to Mimic a User View

Note: This depends upon SalesForce access levels. 

 

  1. Sign in to Salesforce and look up the user
  2. From Service Console view, select App Launcher in upper left hand corner

  3. Select Lithium from the list of applications, which should open community in a new tab

  4. Go back to Salesforce tab and close App Launcher window

  5. With contact record open, select the down arrow on the right hand side of the screen, select "Log in to Community as User"

  6. Select "Customer Community"

You'll be signed into the community as that user. There are 2 key things to note:

  • Any posts you make will be posted under the user account
  • To access Product and License Center access (as the customer), navigate to Other Resources > Product and License Center

  • PLC 1 is the button under the list of products on the left and PLC 2 is the button under the list of products on the right
