Coronavirus Customer Communication | March 16, 2020

To our customers and partners,

I’m sure this is one of many emails you’ve received about this.  While we posted a similar message on our Customer Community last week, I felt it was important to get this in your inbox proactively, so you know that we’re doing what any good company would do at this time.

Flexera is a global company and as such we monitor the developments related to the COVID-19/Coronavirus closely and take action based on the advice from health organization and local authorities.

The health and safety of our customers and our employees is the first priority for us. For that reason, while Flexera is not currently impacted, we have taken all steps to ensure a safe work environment for our employees while continuing the expected level of service for our customers. The Flexera Global Health & Safety team, as well as our Senior Leaders, are meeting regularly to review the situation and to apply any changes to our plans as required by the current circumstances.

Related to the above, here are the details of Flexera’s companywide measures being taken, part of our Business Continuity Plan, that will be important for you to know.  A summary of our plan can be found here.

  • Work from anywhere: All our teams are enabled to work from home and we provide the infrastructure for employees to do so following the same security standards that would apply if they worked in an office. While we did not have to close any offices yet, we successfully ran tests in all offices to ensure that our infrastructure can cover the load we would get if all employees had to work from home.
  • Continuity in service: We don’t foresee degradation of service or support of our solutions.
  • Travel Restrictions: We restricted employee travel and internal meetings to lower the probability of people getting infected.
  • Proactive governance: We have a workforce strategy to bridge any gaps due to employee coverage, as needed.

Because of our business continuity planning we don’t expect any disruption to our operations. Please reach out to any Flexera contact if you have questions or need support.

Thank you, as always, for trusting us with your business –

Jim Ryan
