Overview
Microsoft have announced plans to discontinue the support for Basic authentication for Exchange Online and are recommending that all the new and existing customers now use modern authentication.

Solution Approach
In line with these changes and as part of our continued commitment to support key vendors such as Microsoft, we have planned to release a hotfix for App Portal 2022 R1 which will enable Exchange Online authentication via the Graph API.
The hotfix will be shared as part of Flexera App Broker Knowledge Base article. Full installation details are included as part of the KB article download.
Our App Portal 2023 release will include support for Exchange Online authentication via the Graph API. Further details regarding the release date will be posted on the Flexera Community nearer the time.
Recommendations
If you are using App Portal 2021 R2 or earlier, we recommend that you upgrade to App Portal 2022 R1 and apply this hotfix. This will ensure that you can continue to benefit from the Flexible Approval capability with modern authentication - within App Portal.
