App Portal Error on a MAC: The Machine Is Not Present
Hi we're getting an error that a machine is offline and not present on the JAMF sever when trying to chose a target device. during checkout I am not familiar at all with the JAMF server, but the admin advised that the JAMF instance is fully functional.
I have checked logs and the machine is not showing up in any logs, and there are no errors or anything that stands out on the checkout.log
Any advice would be much appreciated.
- When you got a warning/error message saying that "Machine is offline, will be added after it comes online" are you able to move to the next screen or it is blocking you from checking out the catalog item?
- Can you please check whether the Jamf client is installed on the Mac machine in which you are trying to install the software?
- Can you please provide us with the logs and screenshots of the issue?
