Workflow Manager - Unable to view/edit the details of Dataelement
Users may not be able to view/edit Dataelement in a Template after making some changes to it.
Clicking on Dataelement does not show the relevant element details. Instead it shows the previous clicked data element value.
This may occur if the ‘IsCondition’ field is set to ‘1’ in ‘AMS_DataMinorItemTpl’ table for the particular dataelement (DataMinorItemDesc).
To verify this execute the below query against the database by replacing the Dataelement value in the ‘DataMinorItemDesc’ filed.
Select IsCondition , * from AMS_DataMinorItemTpl where DataMinorItemDesc = ‘<Dataelement name here>’ -- Check if the Iscondition value is '1'.
Updating the ‘IsCondition’ filed value to ‘0’ may fix this issue.
To do so, kindly execute the attached script ‘Dataelement fix.sql’ against the database, refresh the browser and click on the Dataelement. Now we should see the relevant Dataelement information.
