Summary:
Users may not be able to submit new Workflow requests after upgrading their Workflow manager.
Symptoms:
While submitting a new Workflow request users might encounter the error shown in the below screenshot because of column mismatch in DB tables if the upgrade does not happen properly.
We can see something similar to this in the log file. "'Error: ExecuteNonQuery - Exception: Index#: 0, Message: Invalid column name 'FolderStructure'., LineNumber: 1, Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider, Procedure:'"
Resolution:
Executing the below mentioned SQL scripts present inside 'C:\AdminStudioWebComponents_2020\Support\SQL_Scripts' in the below order against the database will add the missing columns and users should able to submit a new Workflow request. Please find the attached scripts for reference.
1) '1702UpgradeWFM.sql'
2) '1802UpgradeWFM.sql'
