Summary
Error 4314 When Using AAC to Repackage Into AppV
Symptoms
Viewing the Report shows the following in the Package Conversion Messages:
Error 4314 controlling virtual machine: Failed to copy repackaged output from virtual machine: 058f0358
This is when attempting to convert to .appv as an output format.
Note: Conversion to .msi format is successful, but .appv is not.
Cause
AppV Sequencer is missing from the target Virtual machine. This can be downloaded as a part of the Windows ADK(Not SDK)
Resolution
Download and install AppV Sequencer on the Virtual Machine and retake Snapshot\Checkpoint. This can be downloaded as a part of the Windows 10 ADK(Not SDK)
