Problems setup AdminStudio8 on Windows 7

Hello together,

The last days i tried to Setup Admin Studio 8 Standard on my fresh installed Windows 7 AdminClient.

all times the Setup breaks at the Custom Action "VerifyWebToolsRequirement".
IIS is installed completely on this machine, i only want to setup The Editor and no web-Tools.

I found a similar posting from 2007 without any public solution 😞

Can anyone give some hints or tips ?

btw. i have the SAME Problem on a fresh Vista Machine !!!

Hi,

Please try installing the latest version of AdminStudio - 9.5 on the Win 7 machine. I am not sure if AdminStudio 8 setup was ever tested on Win 7 machines.
