Without knowing more about the configuration of your workstation running AdminStudio and what version and tools includes with AdminStudio you are using, it would be hard to say what could be causing any high CPU usage, particularly for an extended duration.
For each new release of AdminStudio, there is an accompanying Release Notes that include the System Requirements. Make sure you review these and confirm that your workstation meet these minimal specs.
The Release Notes can be found under the corresponding version from our Flexera Documentation site.
