Automated Application Converter

Hi, I'm having trouble converting software to "virtualized".
I get "Error 13003 reverting virtual machine to snapshot AutoRepack_Base" and "VIC Error 13003".
I have followed the guidance but always get same result.
Vmware workstation 12.5. I have run the "VMCfg.exe", shutdown and snapshot with that name. However this error-message still comes...

Anyone have a clue where to begin looking?

Hi Knut,

If you look at this link for VIX error codes --> https://www.vmware.com/support/developer/vix-api/vix17_reference/errors/errors.html, it says 13003 error means -
13003 – VIX_E_SNAPSHOT_NOTFOUND
The snapshot does not exist.

It is possible that the snapshot name you specified in AAC does not exist in the VM you are using for conversion. Can you double check that?

Thanks!
Yes I doublechecked it. To be sure I made a new vm and named it autorepack_base, but with no luck. The local machine and the vm has same ip-subnet, but no luck.
Is there a logfile I can check regarding this issue?

Hi Knut,

You can look at the VMWare logs. They reside in the local user temp folder, under a folder named 'vmware-', where is the logged on user name. The log there should give you some more indication on this error.

You can also try giving the snapshot a different name, and see if that makes any difference.

Hope this helps.

Thanks!
This is what fixed the issue:

Deleting the LCK-folder made adminstudio available to access the vmware workstation ok
