Add / Remove Icon...

Since I converted several of my packages to "per-user" installs, i've noticed that the icons for each package in "Add / Remove" are just a "folder", yet each package references a specific icon to be shown in "Add / Remove". Does anyone know what is causing this issue? I thought I would see if anyone else has experienced this issue, also I opened a ticket with Install Shield technical support. I have to create a basic .msi project to reproduce the problem and send it to them.

Thanks,

Bryan

Might be an MSI bug; please see this Microsoft KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;258558...

Yep I get this too. my client only uses currentuser installs. It's an MSI bug
jl51855,

I actually kinda like it! It's an easy way to tell if the product was installed via a package I created. Yes, I know there are other ways to tell that or configure my package to make it evident.

Blah blah blah, 😄

I hear ya Bryan. Though it would be better if the thing actually works the way it should be.... then my QA people won't keep bugging me about it!
