Determine Who is Involved

Before you begin work on the implementation, it is helpful to identify who in your organization will fill the following roles. You may have more than one person per role:

  • IT Visibility Viewer—Read-only access to the IT Visibility dashboard.
  • IT Visibility Exports Viewer—Read-only access to IT Visibility Exports.
  • IT Visibility Exports Viewer—Read-only access to IT Visibility Exports.
  • IT Visibility Administrator—Full access to access to IT Visibility Exports which is required to schedule an export.

  • General user - access to training, forums, global search and subscriptions
  • Customer - Access to case portal and all general user access

If you have a team of employees submitting cases, we recommend you agree upon any standards you have. For instance, some companies will detail what to include in the case, how to title cases, how quickly to respond to tickets and what emails to add as case watchers. Be sure to document the decision.
