SVM On-Prem August 2025 Release Update: Key Fixes in SVM On-Prem and Patch Publisher

SVM On-prem v7.6.1.33-2 R2 is now available for download.

We’re excited to announce that the August 2025 release of Software Vulnerability Manager (On-Premises Edition) brings critical fixes that directly address two issues reported by our users:

Silent Parameters Restored for VPM Quick Patch in SVM On-Prem

In previous versions of SVM On-Prem, users encountered missing silent parameters when deploying quick patches via the Vendor Patch Module (VPM). This limitation disrupted automation workflows and required manual intervention for patch deployment.

With this release, the silent parameters have been fully restored, enabling seamless and silent patch deployment once again. This fix ensures that your patching processes remain efficient and non-intrusive—just as they were designed to be.

Subscribed Packages Now Trigger Properly for WSUS in Patch Publisher

Another major fix addresses the issue where subscribed packages in Patch Publisher were not triggering correctly for WSUS connections. This caused delays and inconsistencies in patch propagation across environments relying on WSUS.

The current release resolves this by ensuring that all subscribed packages are now reliably triggered and published to WSUS endpoints, restoring full functionality to your automated patching workflows
