2026 R1 Release for FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS) - Release Date 1st July 2026

We’re excited to announce our FlexNet Manager Suite 2026 R1 release. It is available for download from the Product and License Center in the Flexera Community.

Release Highlights

• Enhance IBM Cloud Pak reporting and allocation management with clearer allocation visibility and more consistent consumption calculations.
• Stay ahead of IBM sub-capacity risks with proactive identification of end-of-support technologies that can impact IBM licensing eligibility.
• Increase Oracle licensing accuracy by recognizing primary/standby database clusters and correctly accounting for options and packs.
• Strengthen Oracle discovery and optimization with enhanced WebLogic recognition and expanded Oracle reporting capabilities.
• Extend compliance coverage to Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM) with inventory visibility and licensing calculations across Oracle virtualization environments.
• Gain better visibility into virtualization and cloud environments with Azure Uniform VMSS support, Nutanix IBM-consumption improvements, and VM density reporting.
• Accelerate container management with redesigned container reporting and a new dedicated Container Images experience.
• Speed up reporting performance through pre-calculated data for licenses, installations, and inventory devices.
• Improve operational scalability with a 64-bit Inventory Beacon, SQL Server 2025 support, and AWS region whitelisting.
• Improve data quality at scale through bulk deletion capabilities across purchases, assets, computers, licenses, and users.
• Expand software optimization insight through Tanium software usage tracking and improved exemption reporting.
• Flexera Analytics updated to version 12.1.2 and Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 is required.
