Description

Various performance and reliability problems may occur due to a poorly performing database trigger that runs when computer (inventory device) records are being updated or inserted.

Symptoms of this problem that have been observed include:

Slow execution or timeouts when executing the following import writer steps:
- WriteComputers - Insert new computers
- WriteComputers - update computers that have changed in the source
- For AWS machines, update additional data to virtual machine and computer
Flexera One ITAM menu options failing to appear.
Other kinds of errors or slowly performing operations in the web UI and system tasks.

Fix status

This issue is planned to be addressed in the following future releases: 2026 R1.1 / Jul 2026 (Cloud), 2026 R2 (On Premises).
