Configure default VM details for Service Portal users
Commander Service Portal displays a default set of VM properties for users. Each user can customize which properties to view on their own VMs; however, administrators can define the default properties available to all Service Portal users. The steps below explain how to configure these defaults.
- Log in to Commander with a superuser account.
- Navigate to Configuration > System and select the Advanced tab.
- Filter the list by “vmdetails” and double-click the
embotics.default.vmdetails.portalsystem property. - Enter the numeric IDs for the properties you want to appear by default, separated by commas. Refer to the property ID table below for available fields.
- Click Save.
The updated property list will take effect the next time Service Portal users log in.
