Current date/time appears in "Last updated date" field on inventory device record if the record has not been updated since it was created

Description

Summary

If an inventory device record has been created but not updated, it has no "Last updated date" value. In this situation the web UI will show the current date/time in this field.

Workaround

Viewing the inventory device record in the web UI and clicking the "Save" button will cause the "Last updated date" field to be explicitly set, and the field will then show that time rather than the current time whenever the record is viewed again.

Fix status

This issue is still open but not currently scheduled to be addressed.
