Snow Atlas backup strategy overview

Backup strategy

Database backups

Snow Atlas performs a full backup of all databases associated with a Snow Atlas instance every 24 hours.

The backups provide a complete copy of the database data that can be used for restoration if necessary.

Backup storage

Backup data is stored in secure offsite locations with physical and digital security measures designed to protect the safety and integrity of the data.

Snowpack retention

Incoming snowpacks are retained for an additional 30 days. This retention period allows the data to be reprocessed if necessary.
