Oracle Verified - The processing of the inventoried data (vlicense file) is not successfully executed according to the expectation
Oracle Verified data is listed as incomplete for the following reason(s):
- Computer that has detection for Oracle DB product installations, but the Oracle vlicense data could not be processed.
Explanation
In OracleOvsService method ProcessOvsVLicense async processing of the data in the ovs_orcl_vlicense.json file failed. This message indicates that the data in the ovs_orcl_vlicense.json file could not be successfully processed.
It is likely that there is an issue with the data extracted by the scanner which means Support will need to review the data and logs in the snowpack. An example of what would be shown in the ovs_orcl_vlicense.json file is shown below.
Troubleshooting
To troubleshoot this issue perform the following:
- First verify that the latest version of the Snow Agent and scanner have been deployed on this computer. If not, run the upgrades and if the issue persists, continue troubleshooting.
- If you have not remedied the issue, please open a new case with Snow Support, providing the following information and observations you've collected during this troubleshooting:
- All relevant software versions (snowagent, sios, siohws, java, oracle db version and edition if known.)
- The latest log from Program Files\Snow Software\Snow License Manager\Services\OracleManagementOption on the Snow License Manager application server.
- A snowpack with agent logging set to verbose.
- A snowpack that also includes the data from SIOMS, SIJS, and SIOHWS scanners
