Nothing happens when deleting custom fields
When deleting any custom field nothing happens. It will show it is processing however, the list will still be the same - nothing has been deleted.
Environment
- Snow License Manager (SLM) 8.x.x
Analysis
- Launch Roles and Features wizard in PowerShell by issuing the command:
Import-Module ServerManagerAdd-WindowsFeature| - Under Web Server (IIS) > Web Server > Common HTTP Features confirm whether or not WebDAV publishing is enabled.
Note: If WebDAV Publishing is installed as shown above proceed on the Resolution section, otherwise, this is irrelevant to the behaviour you are experiencing.
Resolution
Uncheck WebDAV Publishing and complete the Wizard to remove this feature. Restart the server and you should be able to delete the custom fields as expected.
