Intune Connector "Get Intune Users" failing with - "ErrorActionPreference" or common parameter is set to Stop: CsvHelper assembly not found.
When you run the Intune connector, the Get Intune Users reader step may fail with an error that mentions ErrorActionPreference and CsvHelper assembly not found.

To address the error, either apply the attached hotfix (SQ-19535.zip) or upgrade the Beacon to ver. 25.0 which contains the fix.
Apply the hotfix
- Download the hotfix zip file.
- Extract the hotfix zip file.
- In the extracted zip file, locate the correct copy of
ComplianceReader.exe.configfor your Beacon version. - On the Beacon server, open the following folder:
\Program Files (x86)\Flexera Software\Inventory Beacon\DotNet\bin
- Replace the existing
ComplianceReader.exe.configfile in that folder with the file from the hotfix zip file. - Restart the FlexNet Beacon Engine service.
- In the Beacon user interface, run the Intune connector manually.
- Review the results to confirm that the connector completes successfully.
Upgrade Beacon
If you don’t want to apply the hotfix, upgrade Beacon to version 25.0 or later.
After you apply the hotfix or upgrade Beacon, the Get Intune Users step should be completed without the ErrorActionPreference or CsvHelper assembly not found errors.
