Update agents on machines using the Snow Inventory Service Admin Console
This article explains how to update existing Snow Inventory Agents using the Snow Inventory Service Admin Console.
Snow Inventory Agent 5.x and 6.x
This article covers both the SUS process and the agent update process. Before performing the agent update, make sure the required agent version is available. If no agent versions are listed, or if the version you need is missing, run the Snow Update Service (SUS) first.

If you do not see the version of the Snow Agent you intend to deploy first you will need to download them. There are two ways where you can download the latest Snow Agent versions / templates that you will need for the Snow Agent Update:
- Offline method : The Offline SUS update is suitable if your environment has a slow Internet connection or has no access to the Internet.
- Online method : Otherwise, you should use the Online SUS Update. However, please ensure that the CDN option is ticked as shown in one of the images below for one of the steps of an Online SUS Update.
However, if you are seeing the version of the Snow Agent you intend to deploy then you can skip the SUS update steps. Instead please proceed straight to the last section called Performing a Snow Agent Update .
