FAQ: How do I find Main Executable files & Registry values (Snow License Manager)
In Snow License Manager, an application that is based on an executable file will show information on both usage/metering and number of installations. However, an application that is based on the property values will only show information on number of installations. This article provides the processes by which you can collect this information manually on the target computers.

To find the name of the executable file of an application you can see in the Start Menu:
Open the Start Menu and click on All Apps.
Find the application in the list and right-click, pick More and then Open File Location.
At the target location, right-click on the shortcut, pick properties and find the executable in the Target field.
To find the property values of a certain application:
- Depending on operating system, open Programs and Features or Add or Remove Programs.
A list of currently installed programs appears. - In the list, property values of interest are displayed in the columns Name, Publisher, and Version.

MacOS
For MacOS there are no .exe-files but instead .app-files. The exact name can be found by right-clicking the application and then choosing Get Info. In the info window look at the field Name & Extension to find the complete filename.
