Configure maximum VM sharing availability using system properties

Snow Commander offers more configuration flexibility through system properties than the standard user interface. These properties are applied during Commander initialization and can modify its behavior. You can change the default availability period for shared VMs from 90 days to a custom number of days using a system property.

Instructions

Log in to vCommander with an account that has the Superuser role.
From the Configuration menu, select System Configuration, and then switch to the Advanced tab.
In the filter box, enter share to display configuration options for VM sharing.
Double-click embotics.customer.maximum.share.availability.
Click Use Default to restore the default value or enter the desired value, then click Save.

Outcome

Changing this setting adjusts the maximum VM sharing availability period to the value you configure.
